Now roll them cases out and lift them amps  이제 상자를 끌어내고 앰프를 들어올려
Haul them trusses down and get'em up them ramps   지붕틀을 끌어내리고 이동식 경사로도 치워야지.

But when that last guitar's been packed away   하지만 저 마지막 기타마저 실려나갈 때면

And these towns all look the same   그러다 보니 모든 도시가 다 비슷해보여...
We just pass the time in our hotel rooms   우린 호텔방에서 시간을 보내다가
And wander 'round backstage   무대 뒤편을 서성거리지
Till those lights come up   조명이 켜질 때까지...

Now we got country and western on the bus R&B,   버스 안에는 컨트리, 웨스턴, 그리고 R&B가 울려퍼지고
we got disco in eight tracks and cassettes in stereo   스테레오 카세트에 담긴 여덟 곡짜리 디스코 음악도 듣지...
We've got rural scenes & magazines   시골 경치도 보고 읽을 잡지들도 있군.
We've got truckers on the CB   무선 교신을 하는 트럭 운전사들
We've got Richard Pryor on the video   리차드 프라이어의 비디오도 있고
We got time to think of the ones we love   사랑하는 이를 생각할 시간도 있지
While the miles roll away   수많은 마일을 달려가는 동안엔....
But the only time that seems too short   하지만 너무 짧게만 느껴지는 유일한 시간은
Is the time that we get to play   바로 공연하는 시간 뿐이지....
